1. Why are Planet Flops so comfortable?
    Planet Flops are so incredibly comfortable because they are designed by a podiatrist and are made with natural Brazilian rubber. Natural rubber has increased flexibility and cushion.

  2. What is the difference between natural rubber and synthetic rubber?
    Natural rubber comes from the rubber tree (Hevea Brasiliensis). The harvesting of natural rubber occurs by harmlessly "tapping" into the tree to remove a milky sap from the bark. This does not affect the health of the tree. Please see the pictures for a visual description of the "tapping" process. Synthetic rubber is manufactured from petrochemical feedstocks, with crude oil being the primary raw material.


  3. Does the use of natural rubber benefit the environment?
    Yes. Natural rubber is derived from the rubber tree (Hevea Brasiliensis), and the preservation of rubber trees in the Brazilian rain forests is vitally important. Importantly, the rubber tree is not cut down to extract the natural rubber.

    Instead of destroying the rain forests for the timber or to make room for ranching, rubber trees provide a renewable, sustainable source of income for the millions of people living in the rain forests while simultaneously promoting the preservation of the rain forests and all of the natural wonders within the rain forests. In addition, rubber trees are and excellent source for removing CO2 from the environment.

    Yes. In fact, we would be happy to recycle your used Planet Flops™ for you. Simply return them to us and we will give you a 10% discount on your next order as a token of our appreciation.

  7. Are Planet Flops made from 100% natural rubber?
    Natural rubber in its original form is a tree sap and is of no commercial use. Planet Flops contain other materials, including dyes and glues, which are necessary to create the durable comfort of Planet Flops. We are committed to using the maximum possible amount of natural rubber which, in turn, makes Planet Flops™ so incredibly comfortable.

  8. How is my order shipped?
    All orders are shipped via Priority Mail with the United States Post Office.

  9. How do I know if my order has been shipped?
    You will receive an e-mail confirmation when your order has shipped. You can also contact customer service at customerservice@planetflops.com or 424-253-6530. Please have your order number ready.

  10. What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

  11. If I place an order today, when should I expect it to arrive?
    Orders are usually shipped within 24 hours of being placed and delivered within 1 to 5 business days thereafter depending on your shipping destination.

  12. How do I check the status of my order?
    To check the status or track your order, simply log into your Order Status.

  13. Can I ship my order to an address other than my billing address?
    Yes, during checkout, you will have the option to enter a "shipping address". However, please note that we do not ship to APO addresses and addresses outside the USA.

  14. How do I purchase Planet Flops if I live outside the United States?
    We do not ship outside the United States at this time.  Please don't hesitate to contact us at sales@planetflops.com and we can let you know how best to purchase Planet Flops outside the United States.

  15. How do I calculate the shipping and handling for my order?
    Free shipping, via Priority Mail with the United States Post Office, is provided on all orders of four or more pairs of Planet Flops. For orders of one to three pairs, a flat rate of $5 is charged.

  16. What is your return or exchange policy?
    We are happy to accept returns or exchanges of new and unused merchandise that is returned within 20 days from the time you receive your shipment. Please include a copy of your packing slip that was included with your shipment. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund or exchange Planet Flops that are used or worn. Please test your Planet Flops at home on a carpet to avoid getting them dirty or worn.

    Please note that you will be responsible for shipping your merchandise back to us. We will not be responsible for returns or exchanges that are lost in transit and not received by us. Please send all merchandise back to us at:
